HAIKU, BOUND AND GAGGED.
by Bryan Borland
At http://oneword.com/, you’re given one word and sixty seconds to write about it. On a recent visit my word was “gentle,” which prompted the following haiku. Where did this come from? Did this unearth some deep, dark fantasy? Is this even my voice? Such is the beauty of oneword.com – you never know where you’ll end up.
Be gentle but not,
because I want it to hurt…
Show me the ropes, Sir.

Very nice.
Thank you for your comment! – Bryan
This reminds me of the old man and the monkey from “Choke.”
Great observation, although no chestnuts here! – Bryan
That in 60 seconds?!?! Pretty amazing. I visited the site, but it was the same word. So, immediately, my mind went all S&M…lol. I declined to write anything since I was writing under your influence. Looks interesting, though. I’ll visit again the word changes. Have you ever tried 6 Sentences?
HA! Telemachus, I love that I “put your mind in bondage!” I saw the 6 sentence concept on your site – that’s on my list… I’m intrigued!
I’m glad you liked it.
Def give 6 Sentences a try. It’s addictive.
